श्रीमच्चन्दिरशेखरभारत्यभिधानमाश्रये यमिनम्
निरवधिसंसृतिनीरधिमगन्जनोद्धरणबद्धदीक्शम् तम्
काषायाम्बरपरिवृतं ईषत्सि्मतवदनमिष्टदातारम्
शेषाख्येयगुणालिं भूषायितशमदमादिकं वन्दे
kashayambara parivrutam eeshastsim tvadanamishtadataram
seshakhyeyagunaali bhooshayitshamadmadikam vande
I take refuge in him who is adorned in ochre robes ,
with sama and dama as his ornaments , with a benign smile,
granting all wishes and with qualities that can be described by Adishesha

i take refuge in that guru who is always capable of taking care of his devotees
who constantly dwells on the truths of vedanta, who is ever in contemplation and who protects the three worlds

आकाशकेशभक्तं शोकापहमाश्रये गुरूत्तंसम्

i take refuge in that guru who has a lotus like face resembling a full moon
who has credentials for being worshipped by Indra and others, who
always worships Ishwara and who dispels grief
