Salutations to the Guru who is deeply engrossed devoted in Japa of Goddess Sri Lalitha Tripura Sundari
ವಿವಿಧಾಗಮ ತತ್ವಙಾನಾಯ ನಮಃ
Salutations to the Guru gives directions/instructions of the Very pure/faultless advaitha philosophy
The word ‘Vishuddha’ means ‘pure’ and based on this meaning Sri Adi Sankara interprets this as ‘Gunatrayaateetatayaa Vishuddhashcha asau Aatmaa iti Vishuddhaatmaa – He is the purest soul as He is unsullied by the effect of the three Gunaas or qualities hence He is called Vishuddhaatmaa’. The three different Gunas lead to different impurities. The ‘Tamas’ Guna leads to indolence and inaction, the ‘Rajas’ Guna leads to ego, anger and greed and even the ‘Sattva’ Guna can lead to complacency, bondage and self-righteousness. Bhagavan is Gunaatheethah i.e. He is above all these qualities and is not afflicted by any of its attributes; hence He is a pure Soul or Vishuddhaatmaa.

Besides being a center of Spiritual Power, Sringeri also came to be known as a great place of traditional learning owing to the presence of Goddess Sri Sharadamba and the erudition of the Acharyas of the Peetham.
The Acharyas were instrumental in bringing forth commentaries on the Vedas and in further expounding the Bhashyas of Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
The Acharyas also wrote a number number of independent works relating to Advaitha Philosophy and also produced a number of hymns underlining their ardent devotion to the non-dual supreme.
Henceforth , the Peetham is regarded as VYAKHYANA SIMHASANA, the THRONE OF TRANSCENDENTAL WISDOM .
Consequently, the BIRUDAVALI(Honor) hails the Acharya as the Occupier of this throne.

(Wanted to share this incident from the book 'Avadhuta guru shree chandrashekara bharathi' by huruhlgalawadi lakshmi narasimha shastry_
Tarka shastra examination paper was tough and few questions were from out of syllabus. Subramanya shastry from Aardi koppa who was the invigilator for the exam noticed and decided to help Narasimha, his favourite student. He gave the answers to Narasimha secretly. But later to his dismay found that Narasimha had not written the answers. When enquired later he obediently apologises saying that 'guruvarya, I had not studied that part. if I had written, that would have been your answer and not mine'.
You can tell a plant looking at its seedlings, we get the glimpses of greatness in his childhood itself.
Salutations to him whose nature is truth!
